BTL 2022

Fair is back to promote the tourism sector recovery

PMmedia Adv.

From 16th to 20th March, FIL will take in the 33rd edition of BTL (Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa), recognized as the most important event in the tourism sector in Portugal and as a remarkable meeting point for professionals. Travel agencies, tour operators, touristic promotion offices from several countries, food tourism, and products and services companies, in general, reunite, every year, to present to the market and particular operators their special offers. The event also offers a wide plan of workshops, networking spaces, and cultural activities.
Promoted by AIP Foundation, to which the magazine Villas&Golfe associates itself as a media partner, this venue intends to reinforce its status as a great tourism event, highly contributing to the recovery of this important sector in the national economy. In that sense, in this edition, BTL will present several activities and new sectors, such as innovation, culture, wine tourism, and tourism in nature, as well as an international buyers’ programme, organized in partnership with the Turismo de Portugal and TAP, which already counts with a great reception from the major players of the sector.
Therefore, during five days, professionals and the public are given the opportunity to know trends, services, and national or international products in the tourism sector. The offers ‘package’ also includes promotions, allowing families, for example, to buy their vacations with the best discounts. You can count on national destinations, offers from north to south, and more than 60 international travels, along with unique experiences’ proposals, reservation campaigns, and promotions. Several reasons to visit and find out what Portugal and the world have to offer.
Regional tourism institutions, travel agencies, touristic operators, hotels, transports, and the most representative associations of the sector, among others, will cheer up the national tourism biggest fair with several activities, from draws, competitions, products showing, food, wine tasting, traveling packages and accommodation, and much more.
Because BTL is, besides all the professional movement on the three first days, a space for families gathering, we outstand the Kids Route, a special programme for children from 6 to 12 years old, which takes them to discover Portugal through the fair’ paths.
